עֶזְרָא(b. h.) pr. n. m. Ezra, 1) the priest and scribe. Succ.20a כשנשתכחה … עלה ע׳ מבבל ויסדה when the Law was forgotten in Israel, Ezra came from Babylonia and re-established it.
